Generally closed bands come in two formats:

Coded: the number, AAC (sideways) , a two or three letter/number code, year such as '08' (sideways). The illustration below is a 2008 band, with an individual number of 3410 and an individual code of XYZ:

Uncoded: the number, AAC (sideways), year such as '08' (sideways), letter size (such as A,B,C,D,E,G,J,K,L,M,N,P,Q,R,S,U,V,W,X or Y). The illustration below is 2008, L size band with the individual number of 3410:

Unfortunately we can only trace bands with the AAC initials on it and also BFB and WCB as the last two are affiliates of the AACC and purchase their coded bands without the AAC initials.
